Inter Milan defender Juan Jesus has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering knee ligament damage during his side's 2-2 draw against Bologna.
The Brazilian was replaced after 28 minutes of the match and tests today have revealed the extent of the injury.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Juan Jesus underwent diagnostic procedures this morning after being forced off the pitch in the 28th minute of last night's match against Bologna.
"The examinations revealed a complete rupture of the medial collateral ligament in the defender's right knee."
Jesus has played 27 games for Inter this season, who are currently fifth in the Serie A table.
