AC Milan legend Kaka is hopeful that his former club can spoil Roberto Mancini's Inter Milan return in Sunday's derby at the San Siro.
Former Manchester City manager Mancini was named as Walter Mazzarri's successor with the Nerazzurri last week as the Italian prepares for a second spell in charge.
However, the Brazilian - who spent seven trophy-laden years with the Rossoneri - hopes that Milan can negate Inter's new manager to claim the derby-day spoils.
"It's difficult to be away, but I am sure Inzaghi will do well: hopefully next season Milan will be back playing in the Champions League," Kaka told Milan Channel.
"The change of coach will bring more motivation, but I think Milan will win the derby and Mancini will only start his new era after that."
Mancini left the San Siro in 2009 to join the English giants, where he won an FA Cup and Premier League title before being sacked in 2013.
