Roberto Mancini has said that he is satisfied to have claimed his first Serie A win since returning to Inter Milan in tonight's 2-0 triumph away to Chievo.
Goals in either half from Mateo Kovacic and Andrea Ranocchia helped Mancini - who previously spent four years at San Siro - kickstart his second stint in charge of the Nerazzurri at the fifth time of asking.
"It's an important win, as clearly we are gaining confidence because despite the difficulties of facing Chievo we didn't concede," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I am fairly satisfied. The lads are improving in training and putting that into practice in a match situation."
Inter, who were 12th in the table prior to kickoff, moved up one place to 11th following the win but are still 16 points adrift of leaders Juventus.
