Inter Milan manager Walter Mazzarri has described recent signing Hernanes as a player of "extreme quality".
The 28-year-old joined at the end of the January transfer window and will make his debut for the club during tonight's Serie A match against Sassuolo.
"I hope Hernanes can do even more than he has done so far in his career," he told reporters. "He's a Brazil international and can help Mateo Kovacic to grow too.
"We needed a player with extreme quality who can also help those with less experience. I don't want to give him too much responsibility but he can be useful psychologically as well."
Inter are currently sixth in the Serie A table.
