Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has warned manager Walter Mazzarri that he expects the team to beat Hellas Verona on Sunday.
The Nerazzurri have endured a tough start to the new Serie A season, with four wins from 10 games leaving them in ninth place in the table.
Pressure has been building on Mazzarri in recent weeks and Thohir has done little to ease it by claiming that Inter should be picking up points in their next few games.
"In the next three games I expect to collect points," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I know the difference between taking one point or three and the team should bring in all three [against Verona] because the real challenges will our next games against Milan and Roma. Points in those games could give us a major boost for the season."
Inter head into their match against Verona on the back of Thursday's 1-1 draw with Saint-Etienne in the Europa League.
