Inter Milan will attempt to improve on a run of four defeats from their last five matches when they welcome Lazio to the San Siro on Wednesday.
The home side have lost three of their last four matches in Serie A, while they were also knocked out of the Italian Cup by Roma on April 17. That run of form has left them in eighth position in the table, five points off the top five with three matches remaining.
Lazio, meanwhile, sit one spot and two points above Inter having played the same number of matches. They will enter the match full of confidence, however, following a 6-0 win over Bologna at the weekend, but they have also won just one of their last five matches in all competitions.
In terms of the recent meetings between the two sides, Lazio have just shaded it with three wins from the last five matches. Lazio were also 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
The home side have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match, although Esteban Cambiasso and Tommaso Rocchi are both expected to return to the team. Diego Milito is also pushing for a start, but Fredy Guarin should keep his place in midfield.
Lazio striker Miroslav Klose, meanwhile, will attempt to add to his five goals last time out against Bologna. Sergio Floccari should also start in attack, but Alvaro Gonzalez and Bruno Pereirinha are both pushing for starts after appearing from the bench at the weekend.
