Inter Milan have climbed to third in the Serie A table thanks to a resounding 4-0 victory over Cagliari at San Siro.
The Nerazzurri ended their three-match scoring drought in style, Joao Cancelo breaking the deadlock via a third-minute free kick.
Luciano Spalletti's charges dominated their opponents and were unlucky not to extend their lead further by the half-time mark.
However, Mauro Icardi added a second shortly after the interval, skilfully beating his marker and coolly slotting home from close range.
Inter added two more to cap off a dominant performance, Marcelo Brozovic curling into the right-hand corner of the net on the hour and Ivan Perisic blasting home from long range in stoppage time.
The result sees the Milanese giants leapfrog Roma and Lazio into third, while Cagliari remain 14th in the standings.
