Mateo Kovacic's agent has reiterated that the midfielder will not be leaving Inter Milan this summer.
Both Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are rumoured to be interested in the 21-year-old, who is thought to be valued at around £21m.
Amid mounting interest in his signature, Kovacic declared earlier this month that he wanted to stay put at San Siro, with representative Nikky Vuksan echoing these views.
"Mateo is very happy at Inter and will not leave," he told FcInterNews. "This is for certain. We just renewed his contract to 2019 and therefore there is nothing more to add.
"His first outings in a new position went well and I'm happy for him. What about Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool interest? It was just rumours. Simple gossip put about by various media outlets. There was no truth in it. Mateo is staying at Inter."
Kovacic made 42 appearances for Inter in all competitions last season.
