Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Aberdeen have played to a goalless draw in the Scottish Premiership this evening.
Jamie Langfield found himself under pressure early on in the Aberdeen goal as Greg Tansey broke from midfield before squaring the ball to Billy McKay, but the keeper was able to nudge his shot wide.
Inverness had another chance to open the scoring 17 minutes in when Aaron Doran found himself in space before passing to McKay, but the striker's shot was pulled wide.
The visitors started to see more of the ball as the first half progressed, with Jonathan Hayes forcing two saves from Dean Brill in the space of two minutes.
Aberdeen almost took the lead shortly before the break when Niall McGinn tried to smash the ball in from a corner, but his shot bounced back off the crossbar.
Inverness hit the bar themselves after the break when Tansey hit the ball on the half-volley before Shaleum Logan cleared as McKay was looking to hit it on the rebound.
The visitors had the opportunity to clinch all three points in the final moments when Willo Flood crossed in to McGinn, but his finish was easily claimed by Brill, ensuring that the sides finished level.
