Neil Warnock could be in line to make a swift return to management with Championship strugglers Ipswich Town, according to The People.
The Tractor Boys' current boss Paul Jewell has come under pressure in recent months and his side are in the middle of a run of 11 defeats in 15 matches.
Town owner Marcus Evans recently handed his support to Jewell, but sources close to the businessman have claimed that his patience is subsiding and he is keen to take advantage of Warnock's availability.
Warnock, 63, has been out of work since being sacked by Queens Park Rangers last Sunday.
