Italy midfielder Andrea Pirlo has fuelled speculation that he may still want to represent his country despite their early exit from the World Cup in Brazil.
During the tournament it was suggested that the 35-year-old veteran would retire after the event, however it appears that the Juventus midfielder may be about to go back on his initial decision.
"If the new national coach thinks he needs me, I will happily remain available," revealed Pirlo, according to a report in the Washington Post.
Italy exited the Brazil-hosted tournament in the group stages, having come in third place in Group D.
