Massimiliano Allegri believes that his Juventus side were rewarded for the number of chances that they created in their 3-2 win over Olympiacos on Tuesday.
The Serie A giants came from behind to get the better of a five-goal thriller in Turin and move level on points with the Greeks in Champions League Group A.
"The lads deserved this victory," he told Sky Sport Italia. "We created plenty of chances and conceded two goals from dead-ball situations after committing errors, but winning was the most important thing.
"I put out a side that I thought would keep possession and look to string moves together, and I believe that the players had a good game on a technical level. We have created plenty of goalscoring opportunities in these last two games."
Andrea Pirlo marked his 100th Champions League appearance with the opener before Olympiacos turned things around, but an own goal from Roberto and Paul Pogba's strike earned the Old Lady victory.
