Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli has urged his teammates to 'hold their heads high' after losing to Barcelona in the Champions League final.
The Italians were beaten 3-1 in Berlin last night as Barca confirmed their status as the best side in Europe.
Despite leaving Germany without the Champions League crown, Barzagli believes that Juve can take plenty of pride from their performance during the game.
"We knew of the quality of Barcelona. We gave everything we had – they deserve all the plaudits, but we leave with our heads held high," he told UEFA.com.
"We're still growing and we need to keep challenging ourselves to compete at the top and to go as far as possible in the Champions League. That's how you get back to the final."
Barzagli started the match against Barcelona as a replacement for the injured Giorgio Chiellini.
