Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci has admitted that he deserves to be blamed for Galatasaray's opening goal in Wednesday night's 2-2 draw in the Champions League.
Bonucci underhit a backpass to Gianluigi Buffon that allowed Didier Drogba to score, and despite Juve then going 2-1 up the Turkish side struck late to equalise.
"I made a huge mistake, I thought Drogba was closer to me and I didn't hit the ball cleanly," Bonucci told UEFA.com. "In Europe opponents always punish any mistake you make and especially players like Drogba.
"Now everything is more complicated in the group for us, let's hope we can qualify as we did last season. We just have to continue working hard and start winning games.
"Today we were very good to come from behind but not as good to defend our lead. We must improve but I'm sure the spirit is always the right one."
Juventus are second in Group B with two draws from their opening two games.
