Goals from Alvaro Morata and Simone Zaza have given Juventus a 2-0 victory over Sevilla in their Champions League clash this evening.
Juventus started the game positively, as Paul Pogba fired a shot narrowly over the crossbar, before Morata headed over from a Pogba cross.
Sami Khedira threaded a through-ball for the run of Paulo Dybala, but the Argentine narrowly missed the top corner of the net, before Juan Cuadrado sliced a shot narrowly wide.
The hosts were rewarded for their dominance on 41 minutes as Andrea Barzagli found Morata with a cross, before the former Real Madrid striker headed past Sevilla keeper Sergio Rico.
After the break Juventus continued to control proceedings as Dybala tested Rico with a low shot, before Pogba attempted a bicycle kick from a Cuadrado cross, but the French international blazed his effort over the bar.
Juventus had a penalty appeal turned down on 74 minutes, as Khedira tumbled under pressure from Sevilla defender Marco Andreolli, but the referee ignored the team's protests.
The Bianconeri wrapped up the victory on 87 minutes through substitute Zaza, who took the ball off Andreolli on the halfway line, before the Italian international continued his run and placed his finish past Rico in the bottom left corner of the Sevilla goal.
