Juventus hosted Roma in their top of the table Serie A clash.

Arturo Vidal gave the home side the lead, and they scored a second after the break, when Leonardo Bonucci slotted in from Andrea Pirlo's free kick.

Roma had Daniele De Rossi sent off for a foul on Giorgio Chiellini, and were quickly down to nine men, when Leandro Castan handled the ball on the line, giving away a penalty in the process.

Mirko Vucinic stepped up to score from the spot and seal the win, with Juventus moving eight points clear at the top of the table, and bring Roma's unbeaten start to the season to an end.

Read how the action unfolded below.

Good evening and thank you for joining Sports Mole for live text commentary of the Serie A match between Juventus and Roma at the Juventus Stadium.
Today’s match see’s league leaders Juventus take on second in the table Roma, in what should be a fascinating encounter.
Juventus have been in stunning form, having won their past nine games in the league to move five points clear at the top of the table. Roma have not lost all season, but have drawn five of their past seven games in the league, after a record breaking start where they won their first 10 fixtures.
JUVENTUS XI: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah, Tevez, Llorente
ROMA XI: De Sanctis, Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Dodo, Pjanic, De Rossi, Strootman, Ljajic, Totti, Gervinho
JUVENTUS SUBS: Storari, Rubinho, Isla, Caceres, Ogbonna, Peluso, De Ceglie, Padoin, Marchisio, Giovinco, Quagliarella, Vucinic
ROMA SUBS: Lobont, Skorupski, Burdisso, Romagnoli, Jedvaj, Torosidis, Taddei, Ricci, Bradley, Marquinho, Florenzi, Borriello, Caprari, Destro
TEAM NEWS: Juventus have been given a boost by the return of Andrea Pirlo, who is back after a month out with a sprained knee. Andrea Barzagli, who was a potential doubt, has recovered from a slight knock to start, while forwards Carolos Tevez and Fernando Llorente will lead the line for the hosts. Federico Balzaretti misses out for Roma, but midfielders Kevin Strootman and Daniele De Rossi both return from suspension.
The hosts have lost just once in Serie A all season. On that occasion they suffered a 4-2 defeat away to Fiorentina, in a game that saw the league’s leading goalscorer Giuseppe Rossi score a hat-trick.
Despite their brilliant domestic form, Juventus were knocked out at the group stages in the Champions League. They will now play in the Europa League when it resumes next month and playing on Thursday evenings could have a big impact on their season. Roma have not had to contend with the added distraction of European football, which is one reason for their great run in the league.
This game marks the meeting of the league’s best attack against Serie A’s tightest defence. Juventus have scored 39 goals so far this season, averaging over two goals a game. They have only conceded 11 goals, but Roma fare slightly better with just seven leaked in 17 games.
PREDICTION: Juventus have been nothing short of perfect in the league in recent weeks, and I expect them to stretch their winning run to 10 games this evening. It will be a tough ask against a Roma side who are still unbeaten, and will want to prove that their early season form will last. I think Juventus will have enough quality in their side to record a 2-0 victory tonight.
The players are making their way out to a packed Juventus Stadium and the game will be starting in just a couple of minutes.
KICKOFF! We are underway in Turin!
We are yet to see any efforts on goal, with both teams seeing plenty of the ball in the heart of midfield, looking to feel their way into the game.
Roma will have a good chance to score, from a free kick in a central position around 25 yards out from goal, following Chiellini's foul on Totti.
Pjanic takes the free kick but fires it straight into the wall, and Juventus are able to clear the danger.
CHANCE! Roma have the first real opening of the game. Totti steals the ball in the centre of the midfield, before bursting forward and playing in Ljajic, but Buffon is out quickly to make the save.
It has been a really good start to the game for Roma, who have seen a lot of the early possession. The home fans aren't used to seeing their side dominated and have made their feelings known.
Pjanic isn't afraid to shoot from range, and he picks the ball in acres of space, but his effort lacks accuracy and heads well wide of the goal.
It looks like Pjanic has a problem with his right knee, and his side will be hoping that it is nothing more than a slight knock.
Juventus enjoy their first spell of sustained attacking possession deep inside the Roma half, but the visitors have held firm and are not allowing them any space to slip in their forwards.
GOAL! Juventus 1-0 Roma (Vidal)
Juventus have taken the lead with their first real attack of the match. Tevez picks up the ball from Lichtsteiner and inside the box, before slipping in a wonderful pass to Vidal, who then slots a low strike past De Sanctis and into the net.
CHANCE! Nearly an immediate response from Roma. Gervinho cuts inside from the left and the ball breaks to Pjanic on the edge of the area, but his low effort directed to the bottom right corner is saved by Buffon.
Juventus come forward at pace and this time Tevez pops up on the left hand side, and manages to reach the byline, but his attempted cross lacks any power and the keeper is able to claim.
CHANCE! Dodo fancies his chances from 30 yards out, after receiving the ball on the left wing, but his fierce low effort is pushed wide by Buffon.
Roma haven't been too disheartened since falling behind and are seeing plenty of possession. They have looked dangerous on the counter attack, with Gervinho threatening down the left wing.
There have been a lot of late niggling fouls in this game so far, and Vidal gives away the latest free kick, which will allow Totti to deliver a ball into the middle.
Totti powers in a fierce free kick that De Rossi manages to stretch for, but he can't direct his header on target from a tight angle.
Pogba shows that Juventus are always threatening on the break, and after stealing the ball in midfield he bursts forward into the box, before trying to slide in Tevez, but his final pass is just too long for the Argentine.
YELLOW CARD! Tevez picks up the first booking of the evening for dragging down Maicon.
YELLOW CARD! Chiellini quickly becomes the second Juventus player to be booked, after a poor late challenge on Pjanic, that leaves the midfielder needing some treatment.
YELLOW CARD! The cards are piling up now, as Gervinho is booked for a clumsy challenge on the back of Vidal.
CHANCE! Juventus have a couple of opportunities to trouble the Roma goal. They win a free kick on the edge of the box that Pirlo squares for Pogba, but his low strike is blocked. The ball is then slipped wide to Tevez on the right wing, and he flashes a low cross into the middle that his teammates just fail to connect with.
CHANCE! We haven't seen too much of Llorente this evening, but he picks up the ball just outside of the box, and tries to fire an effort into the top left hand corner, but his strike goes narrowly over the bar.
Juventus appeal for a penalty after Lichtsteiner fires in a cross that seemed to hit Dodo on the arm, but the ball was far too close to him to give anything.
We are going to have two minutes of stoppage time at the end of the half.
HALF-TIME: Juventus 1-0 Roma
Juventus have not been at their stunning best, but they have the lead at half time against Roma, thanks to Arturo Vidal's goal. The visitors have seen much more of the ball, but have been unable to find a way through, with the home defence holding firm.
The statistics at half time show that Roma have had 61% of the possession, but both teams have attempted six strikes on goal. Juventus have had just one shot on target, which is the difference between the two sides.
Juventus have only conceded one goal in their past nine league games, and Roma will have a tough job on their hands to find the net and maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The players are back out on the pitch and the second half is just moments away.
Roma kick off and get the game back underway.
Juventus begin the half on front foot and Pirlo works some space before firing in a left footed shot, but it is blocked and the home side will have a corner.
Pirlo takes the corner short to Asamoah, who attempts to get to the byline, but he is fouled and wins a free kick for his team just outside the box.
GOAL! Juventus 2-0 Roma (Bonucci)
Juventus have extended their lead! Pirlo takes the free kick and whips a fantastic cross to the back post, where Bonucci arrives unmarked to slide the ball into the net. Roma have it all to do now!
With the fantastic defensive record that Juventus have, it is hard to see Roma scoring two goals this evening. Their unbeaten run looks like it is coming to an end after 18 league games.
DOUBLE SUBSTITUTION: Roma react to conceding that second goal by bringing on Destro and Torosidis for Dodo and Pjanic.
Juventus are looking in complete control of this game now, and the visitors seem to be out of ideas at this moment in time.
Tevez signals to the bench that he wants to come off, after picking up a knock following a strike on goal.
SUBSTITUTION: Tevez is not risked and comes off to be replaced by Vucinic.
Roma are looking like a shadow of the side who controlled the possession so well in the first half, and are giving the ball away far too easily.
Juventus look happy to pass the ball around keep hold of it for the remainder of this game. They win the ball following a Roma corner and look to break quickly, but Pogba slows down the move and plays it back to his defence instead of attacking the visiting back line.
We haven't seen much action in front of goal over the past few minutes, with Roma finding it extremely hard to get behind the Juventus defence to try and trouble Buffon.
Juventus will have a good opportunity to trouble De Sanctis in the Roma goal, after Strootman gives away a free kick just outside of the area for a foul on Vidal.
CHANCE! Pirlo steps up to take the set piece, and gets it over the wall, but the effort is too close to De Sanctis who comfortably holds onto the ball.
SUBSTITUTION: Roma make their final change, with Florenzi replacing Totti.
RED CARD! De Rossi is sent off for Roma, after a late two footed challenge on Chielleni. It was a wild and reckless foul that left the referee with no choice but to dismiss him.
RED CARD AND PENALTY! Roma are down to nine men! Castan handles the ball on the line after a header from Chiellini was heading into the net from Pirlo's free kick.
GOAL! Juventus 3-0 Roma (Vucinic)
Vucinic steps up to take the spot kick and fires his effort into the back off the net against his former club. Roma's unbeaten run is surely coming to an end now.
SUBSTITUTION: Juventus make their second change of the game, with Marchisio replacing Vidal.
SUBSTITUTION: The hosts make their final change of the evening, as Llorente heads off to be replaced by Quagliarella.
Marchisio tries to get his name on the scoresheet for the home side, but his curling effort from just outside the box is comfortably saved by the keeper.
YELLOW CARD! Roma have lost their discipline now, and Ljajic is booked for a foul on Pogba.
YELLOW CARD! Roma win a free kick on the edge of the box, after a foul from Barzagli, that earns him a booking.
Ljajic sums up Roma's second half performance, with a poor free kick, that he strikes high over the bar.
FULL-TIME: Juventus 3-0 Roma
The referee decides that no stoppage time is needed and calls time on a significant night of Serie A football. Juventus have stretched their lead at the top of the table to eight points, and have ended Roma's unbeaten start to the season.
Roma will have felt hard done by to be behind at half time, but they can have no arguments after that second half display from Juventus. The hosts quickly scored after the break, and it was an uphill struggle for the visitors thereafter. They lost their discipline late on and mangaer Rudi Garcia will be disappointed with De Rossi and Castan, who will both be out of action for their next fixtures.
That's all we've got time for after a great win for Juventus. They have stretched their winning run to ten matches and are surely huge favourites to reclaim their title this season. Please stay with us here at Sports Mole for all of the latest news and results, but from me, it's goodnight.
