Massimiliano Allegri has conceded that his Juventus team were fortunate to beat their bitter Turin rivals in tonight's dramatic 2-1 win over Torino.
Andrea Pirlo struck a 90th-minute winner as Allegri's side snatched the derby-day spoils to remain three points clear at the top of Serie A.
However, the Bianconeri boss was gracious in victory afterwards and claims that Giampiero Ventura's side deserved at least a point for their labour.
"Perhaps a draw would have been a fair result, but this win makes up for the defeat to Genoa, from which we deserved to emerge victorious," he told reporters.
"We played well in the first half but struggled after the break. Torino gave us problems on the counter. Credit to the players for tonight's win. They never stopped believing."
Arturo Vidal had stroked home a 15th-minute penalty before Bruno Peres levelled up midway through the first half.
