Lecce striker Andrea Bertolacci hopes that Gianluigi Buffon's mistake will not cost Juventus in the Serie A title race.
The 21-year-old profited from the Italian international's lapse in concentration to snatch a 1-1 draw for his team last night.
The result means that the Bianconeri's lead over AC Milan is now just one point with two games remaining.
Bertolacci revealed that he feels bad for Buffon but said that the goal was vital to Lecce's survival chances.
"Buffon gave me a high-five at the end of the game," said Bertolacci. "There was disappointment there and I hope that what has happened won't compromise their campaign.
"We were down to 10-men and I just attacked him. We looked to give it our all and there is great satisfaction that we got a point. We are fighting for survival and we'll keep working hard until the very end."
Juventus's next game puts them against Cagliari on Sunday.
