Juventus caretaker coach Massimo Carrera believes that his side "deserved" to win against Chievo on Saturday.
Two second-half goals from Fabio Quagliarella saw the Italian champions defeat the Flying Donkeys 2-0 at home to maintain their perfect start to the Serie A season.
"The match wasn't easy for us because Chievo came here and shut up shop," Carrera told the club's official website. "We had to bide our time, but in the end we ran out deserved winners.
"We didn't stop playing after the second goal either, we were always looking to score, and if we keep doing that we can only become better. That's the mentality we have in this team.
"Quagliarella is in superb form at the moment as he proved tonight. I'm happy for him, and also for the new lads [Paul] Pogba, Lucio and [Mauricio] Isla, who all did well today."
Juventus are currently in pole position in the league table with 12 points from four matches.
