Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has claimed that the club boast a future recipient of the Ballon d'Or in Paul Pogba.
The France international was awarded Tuttosport's 'Golden Boy' award for the best Under-21 player in Europe recently by virtue of his displays for the Bianconeri throughout the year.
However, Marotta says that it is only a matter of time before the 20-year-old forces his way into the reckoning for more illustrious individual honours.
Speaking to reporters at the presentation, the Italian said: "I am proud that Pogba is part of Juventus. This was a marriage in which we chose each other.
"Now we cannot just say he is a promising star, for he is already an authentic champion. Courage is one of his best characteristics, despite his young age, while I also want to point out his intelligence and hard work.
"In future he will certainly be able to win the Ballon d'Or and I hope we can achieve great things together."
Pogba has struck four times in 14 Serie A appearances for the back-to-back Scudetto winners this season.
