Carlos Tevez has dismissed suggestions that he would have asked to leave Juventus if the club had appointed Roberto Mancini as their new manager.
The Argentine had a difficult relationship with Mancini during their time at Manchester City, but Tevez insists that he never asked Giuseppe Marotta, the club's CEO, any questions about who was going to replace Antonio Conte prior to the arrival of Massimiliano Allegri.
"I have never spoke with Marotta about this," the forward told reporters. "The club is based on respect and I doubt the thoughts of a player could change anything.
"Those who write these stories should have more respect.
"I have never thought to leave - I've signed for three years and I want to end my contract here, staying with my teammates."
Mancini is currently without a club following his departure from Galatasaray.
