Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has declared that he is targeting victory against Napoli in the Italian Super Cup to end 2014 on a winning note.
The Old Lady recorded a 3-1 win against Cagliari on Thursday evening to consolidate their position as Serie A leaders, but the Chilean is determined to cap off the year with another victory.
"I want to get back to being one of the best [in the world] in 2015 and I'm working a lot to achieve this," the 27-year-old told Sky Sports News.
"It was important to win this evening and we did that well. We have played against a difficult team and we have produced a good game. It was important to finish 2014 in first place.
"But now we're thinking about Napoli. There are four or five days to prepare well for the game and to finish the year on a high."
Vidal scored Juve's second against Cagliari, his strike sandwiched between goals from Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.
Juve will contest the Italian Super Cup with Napoli in Qatar on December 22.
