Newly-crowned Serie A champions Juventus have maintained their 100% home record in the league this season with a 1-0 win over Atalanta BC.
The hosts almost broke the deadlock after just 10 minutes when Sebastian Giovinco found space to shoot on the edge of the box, only to send his effort narrowly wide.
Pablo Osvaldo twice came close for Antonio Conte's men before the break, while Paul Pogba also threatened with a header that went just past the post.
Osvaldo had another chance to open the scoring 20 minutes after the restart as he collected the ball in the box only to blaze his shot over the bar when he should have done better.
Andrea Consigli then kept his side level with two saves in quick succession, first denying Carlos Tevez's low effort before recovering in time to save Pogba's rebound.
Pogba was to play a major role in the hosts' goal, however, as he threaded the ball through for Simone Padoin, who fired his effort in from the edge of the box.
Tevez almost added a second in the dying stages as he fired an effort just wide, but Juventus were forced to settle for the one-goal win that edges them ever closer to the 100-point mark.
