Pescara sporting director Daniele Delli Carri has said that AC Milan are ahead of Juventus in the race to sign midfielder Marco Verratti.
The Italian, who added that the Turin club have made no contact in two months, revealed that teams in the Premier League, La Liga and the German Bundesliga have also shown interest in the Serie B star.
"There are several clubs ahead of Juventus, including Milan," he told Tuttojuve.com.
"I don't want to name the other sides, but there are some foreign ones too from the Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga.
"The Bianconeri want to sign him, but the last approach from them was two months ago. I would like to underline that Pescara want to keep Verratti with us next season."
Meanwhile, the Pescara star has been included in Cesare Prandelli's provisional squad for Euro 2012.
