Brazilian defender Lucio has travelled to Turin in order to put the finishing touches to his move to Juventus.
The 34-year-old has been a free agent for a short space of time following his release from Inter Milan over the weekend.
Italian champions Juve reacted quickly to the news by offering the veteran defender a reported one-year contract.
A statement on their official websites has revealed that Lucio will now "undergo routine tests at the city's Clinica Fornaca di Sessant and Istituto di Medicina dello Sport medical centres".
Spanish side Malaga were also said to be interested in the centre-back's services.
