Robbie Keane found the net twice as Los Angeles Galaxy came from behind to defeat Portland Timbers 3-1 in MLS action.
The visitors took the lead in the 14th minute after Gaston Fernandez won a free kick in a dangerous position, allowing Diego Valeri to step up and curl one into the top corner.
They held onto their advantage until the stroke of half time, when Gyasi Zardes met a Robbie Rogers cross with a powerful header to draw Galaxy level.
The Los Angeles outfit took the lead in the 73rd minute as Landon Donovan floated a dangerous ball into the area for Keane to meet with a header and put his side in front for the first time in the match.
Galaxy made certain of the win in the dying stages as Diego Chara gave away a penalty kick, allowing Keane to smash home his second of the match from the penalty spot.
