Sporting Kansas City have continued their perfect start to the MLS regular season with a 1-0 win over Los Angeles Galaxy at Livestrong Sporting Park.
After dominating the majority of the first half, Kansas took a deserved lead five minutes before the break.
Bobby Convey whipped in a near-post cross and midfielder Kei Kamara flicked the ball on into the bottom far corner to net his fifth goal of the season.
The host should have doubled their lead after the break but Chance Myers and Graham Zusi spurned good chances.
Meanwhile, the reining MLS Cup champions offered very little going forward and, despite naming prolific duo Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane in their starting XI, failed to muster a single shot on target.
Galaxy have now lost three out of their opening four fixtures.
