Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has revealed that he is hoping to grab his first goal against Juventus when the two sides meet in today's Italian Super Cup.
Since moving to Italy in 2011, Klose has averaged a goal every other game, but he is yet to score against reigning Serie A champions Juventus.
The Germany international is hopeful of changing that record in today's clash and believes that his side are fully capable of claiming the victory.
"I am sure that sooner or later I will score a goal against Juve. Hopefully it will happen tomorrow," the 35-year-old told reporters. "This is our first official game of the season and we want to prove we're ready.
"I am sure we can win, especially in our home stadium, though as always we'd need a bit of luck."
Klose has scored 32 goals in 71 appearances for Lazio.
