Lazio manager Stefano Pioli has said that his side should have claimed all three points against Chievo in their Serie A match this afternoon.
The Aquile were held to a 1-1 draw by the Verona outfit as Alberto Paloschi struck late on to cancel out Miroslav Klose's first-half effort.
"We need to grit our teeth and keep pushing, as this is going to be a very complex week for us," Pioli told Sky Sport Italia. "Despite injuries, this team was competitive and should have won today. We are still in construction and hopefully we can learn from this experience, as we didn't bring the points home due to distraction and lack of consistency.
"I believe our campaign will only be decided on May 31. It's all very tight up there and if we are up in second place, it means we are doing very well indeed.
"We wanted to win today and must learn to take certain opportunities with more determination. Our opponents aren't just going to sit there and give us the points. We need to go our there and take them.
Lazio are currently second in the Serie A table, but 14 points adrift of leaders Juventus.
