Lazio have moved back into third in Serie A courtesy of a 2-0 win over struggling Pescara this evening.
The visitors were the first to test the opposition goalkeeper, but Emmanuel Cascione's effort was well saved.
Lazio took the lead just before the half-hour mark when Senad Lulic found Stefan Radu, who fired in a fine strike from long range.
Lulic got his own name on the scoresheet six minutes later, also smashing an effort in from distance to double his side's lead.
The hosts should have made it 3-0 in the second half when Sergio Floccari found himself with a shooting opportunity, but the Lazio man just couldn't squeeze his effort in.
The result leaves Pescara 19th in the table, while Lazio leapfrog AC Milan into third.
