A strike from Simon Dawkins has given Derby County the lead at the break in their Championship clash with Leeds United at Elland Road.
The visitors took the lead in the sixth minute when Jeff Hendrick was played in behind the defence and his shot was saved by Jack Butland, but Dawkins was on hand to turn the ball in.
Connor Sammon came close to doubling Derby's lead when he raided down the left and into the box, but he curled his effort just past the post.
Leeds almost found an equaliser when Scott Wootton powered a header at goal from close range, but Lee Grant was on hand to make the save for the visitors.
Grant again kept the scores level as he scrambled across and palmed the ball away when Michael Brown fired an effort at goal from distance.
