Graham Dorrans missed a penalty to ensure that Norwich City's meeting with Leeds United has reached the interval without a goal.
Norwich enjoyed slightly more of the ball in the early stages as they looked to carve out openings, but poor decisions at both ends of the pitch restricted the chances on offer.
Leeds were starting to grow in confidence going forward before the visitors were gifted a chance to break the deadlock when Jonny Howson went down in the box under pressure from Gaetano Berardi.
However, the opportunity was wasted from 12 yards as Dorrans rattled the crossbar to the delight of the home supporters.
Moments after missing the best chance of the first half, Dorrans came close again as he fired over after Cameron Jerome's cross had been deflected into his path.
