Neither hosting Millwall nor Leeds United were able to find the net during the opening 45 minutes of their Championship clash at The Den this afternoon.
The home side created the better of the chances, the first of which saw Mark Beevers's header hacked clear off the line from a Chris Taylor cross with 30 minutes on the clock.
Andy Keogh then tested visiting goalkeeper Paddy Kenny with a low shot at the near post.
As the half drew to a close, Keogh went close again with a curling effort from the edge of the area that beat Kenny, but also went just wide of the upright.
Luke Varney had an opportunity to break the deadlock for Leeds in stoppage time, but his header went over David Forde's crossbar.
The half was marred with one minute of stoppage time remaining after referee Mark Halsey stopped play briefly because one of his assistants had been hit by coins thrown from the crowd.
There has never been a 0-0 draw between these two teams.
