Watford opened the scoring against Leeds United in today's Championship clash at Vicarage Road through Fernando Forestieri, but an own goal by Gabriel Tamas ensured that the scoreline at the break would be 1-1.
The Hornets were quickest off the starting blocks, earning themselves a corner within the first two minutes.
From this set piece, Marco Silvestri was able to get a palm to Almen Abdi's delivery, with Troy Deeney's subsequent follow-up ball proving too heavy for Forestieri.
Just a few minutes later, Deeney's close-range header cleared the Leeds bar.
On the quarter-hour mark came the away side's first real chance, as Rodolph Austin sent a shot just wide from the edge of the area.
The deadlock was eventually broken by the home side in the 20th minute, as Forestieri was able to head past Silvestri after the keeper saved his initial shot.
However, Leeds equalised just after the half-hour mark, as Tamas sliced the ball into his own net following a cross from the right flank.
