Leeds United have been hit with the withdrawal of six players ahead of their Championship clash against Charlton Athletic.
Mirco Antenucci, Giuseppe Bellusci, Dario Del Fabro, Marco Silvestri, Souleymane Doukara and Edgar Cani all told boss Neil Redfearn that they were injured and unable to play at The Valley.
A report from PA suggests that Redfearn, along with the club's physios, was not aware of the injuries, which is the latest in a number of controversial incidents to occur at the Whites.
Two weeks ago Leeds assistant boss Steve Thompson was suspended by director of football Nicola Salerno, who then stepped down from his role at the club.
The incidents have also reportedly led Redfearn to consider his own future at Elland Road.
Leeds have lost their last four matches in a row in the Championship ahead of their meeting with Charlton.
