Summer signing Bryan Oviedo has been handed his full Everton debut in an all-foreign lineup for their trip to Leeds United in the Capital One Cup.
It is the first time in Toffees' history that they have failed to name an English player in their starting lineup.
Oviedo, who joined from FC Copenhagen in August, is part of a fresh Toffees defence that also includes Seamus Coleman and John Heitinga.
Jan Mucha replaces Tim Howard in goal for the visitors, while 20-year-old midfielder Francisco Junior makes his first Everton start.
Championship outfit Leeds have made several changes, with Neil Warnock replacing goalkeeper Paddy Kenny with Jamie Ashdown.
Danny Pugh and Aidy White also return to the starting lineup, while former Liverpool attacker El Hadji Diouf faces the Reds' Merseyside rivals.
Leeds: Ashdown; Byram, Lees, Pearce, White; Austin, Brown, Tonge, Pugh, Diouf; Becchio
Everton: Mucha; Coleman, Heitinga, Distin, Oviedo; Naismith, Fellaini, Junior, Gueye; Mirallas, Anichebe
