Steve Evans has said that Leeds United fans should be proud of their team's performance during their 1-1 draw against Fulham.
Chris Wood scored a 64th-minute penalty to cancel out Moussa Dembele's opener and lift Leeds into 18th in the Championship table.
"I told the players tongue in cheek I had a contract until Friday and said they would leave before then if they did not give me passion," Evans told BBC Sport.
"This is a proud football club and with the tradition it has, the minimum the fans will want to see is passion.
"The away end tonight had probably 5,000 Leeds fans in full voice and they were in full voice because they were probably proud of the team."
The match was Evans's first as Leeds boss after taking over from Uwe Rosler on Monday.
