The Football League has confirmed that it is willing to delay Massimo Cellino's disqualification as Leeds United president until after his appeal has been heard.
It was announced earlier this month that the 58-year-old was subject to a disqualifying condition as part of the owners and directors' test and would have to leave his role as director by the end of this month.
However, the League will allow Cellino to remain until after two days after the result of his appeal hearing, which will take place on January 15.
The Italian recently said that he would be willing to resign if it meant that the club wouldn't incur any punishment.
