Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has cast a huge doubt over his own future at the club, following the news that assistant coach Steve Thompson has been suspended.
The Whites confirmed in a club statement earlier today that the 50-year-old had been relieved of his duties, although no further details have yet been given.
Thompson was appointed by Redfearn in December to act as his right-hand man, and between them they helped steady the ship by losing just three games since the turn of the year.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend's meeting with Blackburn Rovers, Redfearn told reporters: "I have to have a good hard think now [about my future]. It's disappointing. It's undermining."
Leeds are currently sitting in 13th place in the Championship table.
