Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has said that he is pleased with a point after their 1-1 draw away at Blackpool on Saturday.
Mirco Antenucci's second-half goal cancelled out Gary Madine's 42nd-minute strike, and Redfearn believes that it is not easy to win on such a poor playing surface.
He told BBC Sport: "I have to say it must be an absolute nightmare for them trying to get results on this. It's just a quagmire. All it needs is a path through the middle and you've got park playing fields.
"You come to Blackpool, bottom of the league and everybody thinks you're going to beat them six and seven and it doesn't work like that. If you're picking up points away from home you're doing the right things."
Leeds next face Blackburn Rovers after the international break.
