Sports Mole previews the Championship match between Neil Redfearn's Leeds United and Charlton Athletic at Elland Road.

Neil Redfearn will be looking for his first win as permanent Leeds United manager when his side host Charlton Athletic in the Championship on Tuesday.

The former academy boss, who had a successful spell in temporary charge earlier this season, was confirmed as Darko Milanic's replacement shortly before the kickoff of yesterday's 3-1 defeat to Cardiff City.

Redfearn did lead the team to two wins and a draw during his caretaker reign, so will be optimistic of ending United's run of seven league matches without a win, a spell which has seen them drop to 19th in the table.

The club have reported no new injuries following Saturday's defeat, but Redfearn may look to make changes to his starting lineup after describing their display as "not a great performance".

Meanwhile, Charlton will be looking to get back to winning ways after picking up just one victory in their last five outings in the Championship.

The Addicks were the last unbeaten team in the league, but their recent run has dropped them down to 11th in the table, six points off top spot.

Bob Peeters' side came from a goal down to share a 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, with top scorer Igor Vetokele scoring off the bench to put himself in contention for a start against Leeds.

Karlan Ahearne-Grant featured for just 45 minutes against the Owls, with Johan Berg Gudmundsson taking his place for the second half and the same swap could be made for the start of the match in Yorkshire.

Leeds won both of the league matches between these two sides last season.
