Leicester City duo Harvey Barnes and James Maddison are set to return to the matchday squad for Tuesday's Premier League meeting with Leeds United at Elland Road.

The Foxes will travel to Yorkshire in confident mood after they ended a nine-game winless run with a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday in Dean Smith's first home game as Leicester boss.

As a result of the narrow win, Leicester moved out of the bottom three due to their superior goal difference compared to Everton.

Leicester will now turn their attention to Tuesday's trip to Elland Road where they will be looking to claim their first away win since February 4.

The Foxes have had to cope without the services of Barnes for the last two games due to a hamstring problem, while Maddison missed Saturday's victory through illness.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Smith said that he expects both Barnes and Maddison to be available for the midweek contest.

"Harvey Barnes joined in training yesterday so he's made himself available for selection," Smith told reporters. "He'll train again today and if there are no after-effects, he'll definitely be available.

"Madders came in yesterday and did a gym session. He will train today, so I'd expect him to be available as well."

The Leicester boss also revealed that Jamie Vardy will be fit despite appearing to sustain a knock to his ankle in the narrow win over Wolves.

Smith added: "His (Vardy's) ankle is fine. He'll be training this morning so he's another one who is available for selection, which is really good for us."

Jonny Evans is feeling better after missing the last two games with a viral infection, however, Tuesday's game will come too soon for the Northern Ireland international.

James Justin has recently returned to training following a five-month layoff due to an Achilles injury, but he is ineligible to play again this season after being left out of Leicester's Premier League squad for the second half of the campaign.

The Foxes are also without the services of Ricardo Pereira, who remains sidelined with a hamstring issue. body check tags ::
