Brighton & Hove Albion continue their unbeaten streak in the league thanks to a late Bobby Zamora goal, moving four points clear at the top of the Championship in the process.

A late Bobby Zamora strike has handed Brighton & Hove Albion all three points in a close contest against Leeds United at Elland Road.

Solomon March latched onto a through ball from Beram Kayal before firing across Marco Silvestri into the bottom corner to open the scoring for Chris Hughton's side.

Alex Mowatt's set-piece delivery found Liam Cooper in the box after 23 minutes, whose glancing header brought Uwe Rosler's outfit back on level terms.

Seagulls captain Gordon Greer could not continue due to injury towards the end of the opening period, so Hughton brought Uwe Hunemeier on in the skipper's place.

The beginning of the second half saw Chris Wood, who missed the target from close range in the first half from another Mowatt delivery, put the ball just over the bar with his knee after a scramble in the box.

David Stockdale then cannoned a goal kick against Mowatt, watching as the ball hit his post before deflecting away to safety.

Brighton substitute Zamora had the final say on proceedings as he chipped over the onrushing Silvestri following a pass from Gaetan Bong.

Hughton's charges, who are now unbeaten in 11 league outings, move four points clear at the top of the Championship table.
