A penalty from Rodolph Austin three minutes from time has earned Leeds United a 2-2 draw at Chesterfield.
The League One side dominated the first 20 minutes against the Elland Road outfit, with Eoin Doyle and Adam Morsy both going close to opening the scoring.
Gary Roberts also tried his luck from distance, but after his audacious strike cleared the crossbar, Leeds responded through Austin, who dragged his shot wide of the post.
Luke Murphy missed with a difficult chance shortly before the break, and Chesterfield were made to pay in the early stages of the second half when Austin netted from the penalty spot.
However, Chesterfield responded with two goals in the space of 11 minutes from Morsy. His first strike saw him place the ball past Marco Silvestri and his second came from a first-time finish inside the penalty area, after a knock-down from Armand Gnanduillet.
It appeared as though the Spireites were going to hold on for an impressive triumph, but, in the 87th minute, Austin stepped up to net his second penalty after Daniel Jones had committed a foul inside the box.
