A second-half strike from Ross McCormack gave Leeds United a 1-0 win over Bristol City in the Championship this afternoon.
A Neil Kilkenny free kick brought the first chance of the game when Liam Fontaine met the cross, though the defender could not pounce on Paddy Kenny's spill.
Leeds came close through Ross Barkley, but the midfielder could not direct the ball towards goal.
Just before half time, McCormack had an effort from distance, but his shot was comfortably gathered by Tom Heaton.
The away side nearly took the lead in the second half when Sam Byram almost put the ball into his own net, though Kenny was on hand to keep the scores level.
The home side then took the lead after 67 minutes when Barkley's cross found McCormack, who nodded home at the far post to make it 1-0 and secure the win.
