Leeds United striker Chris Wood has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Besiktas.
After scoring 30 goals from 48 appearances in all competitions last season, Wood has been linked with a move from Leeds, who remain keen to keep the forward at Elland Road for at least another season.
However, according to The Mirror, it appears that they may have to fend off interest from Besiktas, who are showing an interest in signing the 25-year-old.
It has been claimed that Leeds value last season's Championship top goalscorer at £20m, and they remain hopeful that it will be enough to fend off any approaches for Wood's signature.
Earlier this summer, Leeds's director of football Victor Orta claimed that Wood was "likely" to remain with the Yorkshire giants as they target a bid for promotion to the Premier League.
Wood has scored 43 goals in 85 appearances in all competitions since moving to Leeds in July 2015.
