Leeds United right-back Lewie Coyle has signed a two-year extension at Elland Road.
The 21-year-old, who has made six appearances for the Championship side this season, has committed his future to the club until the summer of 2019.
Coyle, currently out of action due to a knee injury, told reporters: "I'm delighted to sign an extension to my deal. I've had some bad news with the injury so this is definitely good news.
"I've been here since the age of seven, so the thought of not being here is a daunting one. I've come on leaps and bounds this season.
"It's great to be coached under Garry Monk and we're looking up from here."
Coyle is expected to be absent for up to 12 weeks.
