Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater will serve an immediate three-match ban after admitting to an FA charge of violent conduct.
The 26-year-old has been hit with retrospective action following an incident that occurred during last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Watford.
TV cameras picked up footage of Drinkwater appearing to elbow Valon Behrami during a challenge for the ball in the game at Vicarage Road.
Rather than contesting the charge, the midfielder has accepted a three-match ban, which will rule him out of Premier League games against Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Manchester City.
Leicester have struggled in the top flight having won just three of their 12 games, which has put them 14th in the table.
