Leicester City vice-chairman Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn has revealed that the Championship club have not contacted Martin O'Neill over the managerial vacancy.
The ex-Aston Villa boss has been touted as the favourite to replace Sven-Goran Eriksson after the former England boss was axed by the Foxes.
Despite reports suggesting that Leicester had already given O'Neill an ultimatum, when asked if there has been any contact with the 59-year-old, Raksriaksorn told Sky Sports News: "Not yet.
"Maybe I don't want to say that because I have to open my mind now and it is not just what the fans want. We will select very carefully.
"I would say now I don't decide anything yet individually, I don't want to mention anyone yet because I want to see all applications first and then I will decide."
There are a number of managers reportedly in the running to become Eriksson's successor.
