Leicester City come from a goal down to beat Bolton Wanderers 3-2 at home in the Championship this evening.

Leicester City came from behind to beat Bolton Wanderers 3-2 at the King Power Stadium in the Championship this evening.

The Trotters took an early lead when David Ngog fired his third-minute penalty past Kasper Schmeichel, after Lee Chung-Yong was brought down in the area.

The Foxes trailed for most of the opening period, but a Chris Wood spot kick shortly before half time got the hosts back on level terms.

Leicester added a second just a minute later, as Wood crossed the ball in for Lloyd Dyer to fire it in from close range.

Craig Davies, who was brought off the bench early in the second half, saw his first effort at the Foxes' goal bounce back off the post, missing the chance to level for the visitors.

Bolton continued to press and Darren Pratley found an equaliser in the 71st minute, tapping the ball in from deep inside the penalty area, having been picked out by Sam Ricketts.

However, the home side were back in front less than 10 minutes later, as Jeff Schlupp blasted the ball past Adam Bogdan from just outside the box.

Schmeichel was needed to prevent another Bolton equaliser just two minutes after Leicester regained the lead, as Davies smashed the ball towards goal, but the keeper was able to tip it over the bar.

The result lifts Leicester into the playoff places at the expense of their opponents.
